Recent sightings for the Greater Glasgow area, courtesy of the SOC Clyde Grapevine:

1 December 2013
Two Jack Snipe at Windlaw Marsh, near Carmunnock.
A good inland winter count of 14 Great Crested Grebes on Balgray Reservoir, also nine Whooper Swans.
An adult Otter with two cubs on the White Cart Water near Scottish Power, Spean Road, Cathcart, Glasgow at 1000 hrs.

30 November 2013
A Ring-necked Parakeet flew over Scotstoun Leisure Centre in the direction of Victoria Park, Glasgow at 1015 hrs.

A report of a Mealy Redpoll with about 30 Lesser Redpolls at Dumbrock Muir NS555788.
