Things have been pretty quiet over the past few weeks with the highlights including i) the Ring-necked Duck flying back and forth between Bingham's Pond and Victoria Park pond and ii) the female Smew continuing to be present at Hogganfield Loch.
In recent days, a Ross's Goose, a rare visitor to the UK from North America, has been seen in north Glasgow accompanying a flock of Pink-footed Geese.
I managed to catch up with it from the farm track leading from West Millichen in Glasgow towards Boclair Road.

The Ross's Goose was my 105th species for Millichen and my 155th for Glasgow. I wonder if there will be any more surprises over the next few months?
