Birding (Daily Exercise)

Well since my last post, we are now in an official  'lock-down' albeit we are allowed outside to exercise once a day near your home.

I've spent my daily exercise time walking to and from Bingham's Pond and Dawsholm Park LNR and been rewarded with a nice range of birds.

A few photos follow:

1. Dawsholm Park LNR

Chiffchaff

Nuthatch

Ring-necked Parakeet

Bingham's Pond
So, during the last 4 weeks my birding has been limited to a couple of open spaces within walking distance of the house and I've seen 43 species and for once the weather has in the main been very good. The only down-side is I sprained my ankle on my last walk and am currently 'out of action'.

I'll aim to update the blog in another 4 weeks time but in the meantime, stay safe everyone.
