  1. I've just passed a very sad sight at Binghams. " Both adult swans beside their dead cygnet lying just at the shore. No sign of the other 2 cygnets. Does anyone know whats happened there? I reported to countryside ranger - not that they could do much.

  2. Hi Maria, the last time I visited I noticed there was only one cygnet left. Sad to hear that it has also succumbed

  3. Hi Jim
Yes really sad all seemed to die very suddenly.
Ranger said yest morn they would remove cygnet and perhaps get a vet to investigate in case of any particular problem in water. But was still there late last night so maybe it was too soon to move as parent swans remained close and protective.
I'm not sure what usual swan behaviour is in this situation.
