Update and Events Preview

It has been a busy few days since my last post. On Thursday (4th), 3 Buzzards flew over our house perhaps indicating that the local pair have had another successful breeding season. Record shots follow ....

On Friday, another trip through to the east coast delivered 53 species including Curlew Sandpiper at Musselburgh wader scrapes .........

Hopefully, we get a similar good range of birds on the RSPB Glasgow Local Group outing I am leading, to Musselburgh, on Wednesday (10th) - for more details see www.rspb.org.uk/groups/glasgow/events

Today, I met with a helpful Council officer re-the CSV Action Earth supported Friends of Glasgow's Local Nature Reserves event at Bingham's Pond on Sunday 14 October 2014 - for more information see http://friendsofglasgowlnrs.wordpress.com/news-and-events/

Sadly two of the four posters, erected to publicise the event, have already 'disappeared'. Nevertheless, hopefully there will be a good turn-out on the day.

Finally, another reminder to click on a photo to get a slide-show and enhanced viewing of the photographs.
