Med Gull still present!

The Mediterranean Gull was present once again this afternoon (26 July 2013) at Bingham's Pond. A few photos follow.....................
 
 



As I've said before, Mediterranean Gull is still a 'rarity' in the Clyde area, so to get one at my local pond is really something!

    Great find, Jim. Hopefully I'll get the chance to take a long lunch this week and take a trip to the pond.

    I arrived at the pond just before 2 on Monday afternoon and there was no sign. Eventually at 15.40 it appeared, seemingly just popping in for a bath as it sooner flew off. Great bird to see so close.

      I am glad you managed to see it; as you say it's a great bird. I've been told that it was also seen on Tuesday, so it may stick around.
